The Goodman GDS80603AN is a 3 ton single-stage, multi-speed gas furnace. This means you get comfort and cost savings from this energy saving furnace. Set the multi-speed motor to operate at the level most comfortable for you and your home. This furnace has a rating of up to 80% AFUE (Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency), meaning that 80 cents of every dollar of heating energy expense heats your home, compared to some older central heating systems which can be rated at only 60% AFUE.

The Goodman GDS8 dedicated downflow (blows air into ducts located below it) gas furnaces features a patented aluminized steel tubular heat exchanger and high-efficiency hot surface ignition system. These furnaces are run-tested for heating or combination heating/cooling applications. With a heavy-gauge, reinforced, wrap-around insulated steel cabinet and durable baked enamel finish, these gas heaters can be installed in a utility room, closet, alcove, basement or attic. (Not intended for use in mobile homes.)
