The Direct Comfort by Goodman® GM9C8 80% AFUE Two-Stage (Convertible), Multi-Speed, Multi-Position Gas Furnace features a quiet energy efficient blower motor that uses the lowest speed it can to help deliver precise temperature control in your home. Lower blower motor speeds require less energy consumption, which can help to lower utility bills, compared to single speed blower motors. All models are FER compliant and provide up to nine speeds for different cooling tonnages. This efficiency furnace also includes a patented aluminized-steel tubular heat exchanger and durable Silicon Nitride Hot Surface Ignition system. This Goodman gas furnace is run-tested for heating or combination heating/cooling applications. With a heavy-gauge, reinforced, insulated steel cabinet and durable baked enamel finish, this unit can be installed in a variety of locations.
